Since chogm, all JPJ counter has been fully opened as usual.

However, people who have expired LMM and LKM were still given time to renew it within 30 days which is until September 30, 2020.

Cancellation of this exception is in line with the power of the Minister under section 66 (1) (x) and 127 (1) (b) Road Transport Act 1987 (Act 333) that allocates Method - Motor Vehicle Method (Exception) 2020.

MOT always understands the needs of the people and will continue to play a role as a caring ministry, especially during the hard times at the moment. In the same time, people are reminded to always get legitimate information and not spread fake news. In addition, people visiting JPJ countertops or any agency under MOT advised to always comply with the Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) set by the National Security Council in the effort to free the country completely from COVID-19. pandemic.
